Harbor Lights Wedding | Greg & Michaela

"Greg and I met in high school and have been together for a little less than a decade. Sometimes it's hard to believe that we have been together for that long. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that we have friendship as the foundation of our relationship and once you surround that with a whole lotta love, respect, laughs, it's hard to think it could get any better. We're excited to spend many more decades together.  We got engaged on the December 26th, 2015. Yes, the 26th not the 25th. In classic Greg form, he surprised me on a day I'd least expect it - the day after Christmas. He made it a point to include my family, which was so important to me. We celebrated at his parent's house later that evening with all of our close friends and family.  It was the best day.  Our wedding is on May, 19th 2017. We'll be getting married at St. Rose & Clement Parish, followed by our reception at Harbor Lights in Warwick, Rhode Island. Harbor Lights was the first venue we looked at and I knew right away that I wanted to have our reception there. After a few more tours and little convincing, we signed on with Harbor Lights and have been looking forward to this day ever since. Our wedding will our take on a traditional "cocktail" party with small plate style food to create a more relaxed and social atmosphere. We look forward to tearing up the dance floor and celebrating with our closest family and friends as Mr. & Mrs. Palmer. - Michaela
